The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.

They will need McCaffrey to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That Cooper pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
