Sanders should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Raheim Sanders got past him. The Steelers do not have to explain a thing at No. 245. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They are betting Slackman proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. It is not that Cornelius is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
