The Thor Griffith selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 61 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

On value alone, Reid makes the weekend a net positive. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
