The rest of the league had time to spare on Xavier Truss; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 120 spots ahead at the 161st overall pick. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Getting Tuten where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Malaki Starks and all.
