The Seahawks lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Trey Moore at the 195th pick, roughly 99 spots before his name belonged.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Pierce. The Seahawks paired the rookies with proven help, Trey Lance leading the way.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
