More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B- to prove it.

Nobody else had Matthew Jones anywhere near pick 219. The Packers did, by 40 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. With quarterback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Getting Greenfield where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
