You could see the war room lean forward. Raheim Sanders at No. 229 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The cost of the Williams reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
