Draft Grade — Cardinals

Williams is the Cardinals' new face under center. Grade: B.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Cardinals committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Caleb Williams
In slot 4 they get their quarterback of the future at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick21 Rnd1 Amarius Mims
Amarius Mims at pick No. 21 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
