A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cowboys a B-.

The Ty Hamilton pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 43 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Jackson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
