Draft Grade — Cardinals

The Cardinals kept it disciplined and banked a B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most.

They are betting Robinson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In No. 4 they get a No. 1 receiver. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick27 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
Chop Robinson in pick 27 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
