Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall
B
ValueB+
NeedA-
TradesB-
FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cardinals: B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Odunze at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
They did well to land Marvin Harrison Jr. in Round 1, Pick 4, just ahead of his grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick27
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
A tidy bit of business in slot 27, where Rome Odunze graded well above the range. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
