The Bills spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Lathan Ransom, the No. 109 name on the board, in No. 179.

The cost of the Hemingway reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
