The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Steelers watched Emery Jones Jr. slide 66 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Thornton Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
