The Steelers clearly saw something nobody else did in Will Sheppard, taking him 107 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Burke. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
