Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Packers for Harvey: B-.

When a board-topper like RJ Harvey slides to No. 198, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not.

They will need Colby to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Aireontae Ersery
In slot 23 they get an anchor for the offensive line, a steep price for the projection. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Maxwell Hairston
Maxwell Hairston at Round 2, Pick 22 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick87 Rnd3 Jalen Royals
Circle this one: Jalen Royals at pick 87 is a fall that decides a draft. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick124 Rnd4 Hollin Pierce
Hollin Pierce at the Round 4 slot jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick159 Rnd5 Connor Colby
A real head-scratcher, Connor Colby in the 159th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick198 Rnd6 RJ Harvey
They robbed the room for RJ Harvey here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick237 Rnd7 LaJohntay Wester
They reached into another round for LaJohntay Wester, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick250 Rnd7 Cody Lindenberg
They jumped the gun on Cody Lindenberg, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
