Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Xavier Truss at pick 162 is 133 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

Landing Gordon II that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
