You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Xavier Truss in pick No. 156.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
