The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Blake Watson, 69 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The Amegadjie pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
