After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Tracy Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Fisher has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
