Tracy Jr. should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The 49ers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

Landing Tracy Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Reaching for Corum left real value on the table behind him. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
