After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Reaching for Spann-Ford left real value on the table behind him. The Robinson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman and running back went begging.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
