The Giants won the night they stopped Paul Jr. from sliding. Grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Chris Paul Jr., the No. 113 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 7 slot.

They are betting Cook proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
