Maye is the plan now, and the Raiders grade out a B+.

The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They will need Randolph Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

However the rest shakes out, Gray at that price is a win they earned. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Johnny Dixon slid further than he should have, and Round 6, Pick 33 is lovely value for the cornerback. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

A straight-up fair deal on Gabe Hall at the 223rd overall pick, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

Value with a capital V on Caedan Wallace in the 229th pick, a genuine coup. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
