You build a draft on nights like this. Phil Mafah had no business being available in pick 249, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They will need Colby to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
