The Colts checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

The needs board said one thing and the Colts did another, using the 93rd overall pick on Cole Bishop while quarterback, tight end and other spots waited. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. If McCormick pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

However the rest shakes out, Cooper at that price is a win they earned.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
