There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Patriots started one anyway for Kamal Hadden, 97 picks ahead of schedule.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That Mahogany pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
