The Patriots turned the phones into found money: B+.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 80 spots for Bryson Nesbit, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
