Daniels is the plan now, and the Patriots grade out a B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Henderson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
