The Patriots left with their quarterback, and a B+ to match.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Fisher at that price is a win they earned. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They are betting McLachlan proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
