The Patriots worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Patriots were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
