The Bills bled value on every deal, hence the D.

The phones were a trap the Bills kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

Reaching for Briggs left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. That Mitchell pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
