The Broncos checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

Nobody else had Isaac Guerendo anywhere near slot 89. The Broncos did, by 39 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

However the rest shakes out, Smith at that price is a win they earned. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
