Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Reaching for Black left real value on the table behind him. That Ramsey pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
