Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Patriots spent the 238th overall pick on Xzavier Henderson, a name the board had a full 39 spots lower.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Matthew Golden and all.
