Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Bills kept it disciplined and banked a B.

The Bills clearly saw something nobody else did in Alijah Huzzie, taking him 42 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

On value alone, Moore makes the weekend a net positive. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Nick Emmanwori
In slot 30 they get an enforcer at safety, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
Pick56 Rnd2 Demetrius Knight Jr.
Demetrius Knight Jr. at Round 2, Pick 24 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick62 Rnd2 Elic Ayomanor
A tidy little value on Elic Ayomanor in the 62nd pick, a step better than break-even. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick109 Rnd4 Barrett Carter
Barrett Carter in pick 109 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick132 Rnd4 Joshua Farmer
You do not let an interior defensive lineman like Joshua Farmer reach the 132nd overall pick and blink. They did not. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick169 Rnd5 Jack Kiser
A reach on Jack Kiser in the Round 5 slot; the board had better options right there. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick170 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
They will replay Malachi Moore at Round 5, Pick 32 for years; that is how good the value is. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick173 Rnd5 Alijah Huzzie
Alijah Huzzie at the 173rd overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick177 Rnd6 Robert Longerbeam
Value said wait; Robert Longerbeam in slot 177 says they were not listening. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick206 Rnd6 Jaydon Blue
A running back of that caliber at the Round 6 slot is the definition of value, full stop. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
