Best value of the weekend goes to the Saints for Williams: A-.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Kyle Williams, the Round 7 slot, roughly 60 picks past where he belonged. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Kris Jenkins pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In the end it comes back to Josh Simmons, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
