Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Saints came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Saints clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Olumuyiwa Fashanu and all.
