The Saints let Hardy fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The Saints spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Daequan Hardy, the No. 195 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 13. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Randolph Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
