They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here. The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If Skattebo pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
