Somewhere a general manager is explaining how O'Donnell Fortune got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 187. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They will need Burch to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
