The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Jeffrey Bassa slide 49 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Pegues pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
