Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The Seahawks turned the phones into found money: B+. The Seahawks ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Watson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Sanders. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Jordan Morgan
In pick No. 31 they get a long-term starter on the line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick55
Rnd2
Chris Braswell
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Chris Braswell. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick63
Rnd2
Ja'Tavion Sanders
A quiet steal in the 63rd overall pick: Ja'Tavion Sanders for less than the market said. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick78
Rnd3
Cooper Beebe
Cooper Beebe at slot 78 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick81
Rnd3
Roman Wilson
Roman Wilson in pick 81 is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick119
Rnd4
Tommy Eichenberg
They paid up for Tommy Eichenberg at No. 119 when waiting would have done the job. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick132
Rnd4
Malik Mustapha
Malik Mustapha at the 132nd pick is a conviction pick that outran the value. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick151
Rnd5
Theo Johnson
Theo Johnson at Round 5, Pick 15 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick194
Rnd6
Michael Barrett
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 6 slot with a little surplus value in Michael Barrett. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick233
Rnd7
Blake Watson
Blake Watson in No. 233 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
