The Seahawks checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Seahawks never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

That Styles pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Reaching for Rodriguez left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
