The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Smith-Wade: B.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 23 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Chau Smith-Wade, the No. 204 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

If Daniels pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
