Winston Jr. should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a D.

The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 98 name on the board, sitting there at the 173rd pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Milroe reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
