The needs board said one thing and the Bears did another, using Round 3, Pick 25 on Adon Shuler while edge rusher, running back and other spots waited. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Thieneman. They are betting Barton proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
