The war room fell hard for Lee Hunter, and it showed at pick No. 128: 33 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Moore pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On value alone, Love makes the weekend a net positive. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

In the end, a class that has to defy its grades just to matter.
