The tape said wait; the Dolphins did not. Mikail Kamara went at pick No. 46, a good 64 picks before the board was ready. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.
