Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D-
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureC+
Larceny in pick 218 lands the Ravens a D-, Washington and all.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Ravens shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Washington falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Brian Thomas Jr.
In the Round 1 slot they get a home-run threat at receiver. A real need, handled.
Pick39 Rnd2 Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson at No. 39 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
Kingsley Suamataia in slot 62 is fair value, right on his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick93 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson at Round 3, Pick 30 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick113 Rnd4 Maason Smith
A straight-up fair deal on Maason Smith at the 113th pick, value and slot in agreement. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick130 Rnd4 Ben Sinnott
They took Ben Sinnott at par in the 130th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick165 Rnd5 Isaiah Davis
Isaiah Davis at slot 165 is money in the bank, a running back taken below his worth. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick218 Rnd6 Tahj Washington
Tahj Washington at the Round 6 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It fills a real need, too.
Pick228 Rnd7 Evan Williams
Value with a capital V on Evan Williams in pick 228, a genuine coup. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick250 Rnd7 Marcellas Dial
Marcellas Dial at the 250th pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
