The Bears let Bech fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Somebody in pick No. 239 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Jack Bech, the No. 66 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Adding Justin Skule by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
